This deck originally was designed to be hidden staging for Waynoka. My wife decided a couple of years ago I was wasting valuable space on this deck, so for two weeks, (I had some time off), I worked ten or twelve hours a day, lunch was served on site, and finished the lower deck. I added lighting, backdrops, laid track, installed structures (already built), did scenery and when finished, I now had the line from Enid coming into Cherokee Ok which was the junction point with the Orient line (more traffic source and staging) and then the mainline into Kiowa Ks, with a dummy ATSF mainline. The BN Avard sub runs around in the shadows past these points to Avard, which is a junction with the ATSF mainline, and then into Waynoka, which is still staging, but now visible and with scenery. All visible parts of the lower deck are finished and sceniced. |
